Description

Timed online auction of 3X railway locomotives (2000 HP each), 61X hopper (50 tons each) and spares.
All lots to be sold subject to confirmation to highest bidder.

Registration deposits & currency payments
Accepted currency: USD and ZAR
Refundable registration deposit of $1000 or R15000
All FICA/Due Diligence documents must be submitted with registration form and registration deposit proof of payment.
Buyer’s premium
10% buyer’s premium charged on all lots sold.
Sales tax
15% value added tax (VAT) on purchase price (hammer price)
15% value added tax (VAT) on buyer’s premium
Viewing
During normal working hours at NIMSI premises.
Monday – Friday between 08:00 to 16:00 CAT

Asset collection
During normal working hours at NIMSI premises.
Monday – Friday between 08:00 to 16:00 CAT
Collections & removals
2X calendar months from confirmation of assets, more time can be arranged if needed.
All asset removal costs are at buyer’s own expense.
Crane facilities are available for hire next to premises, contact details can be supplied if requested.
Transport contractors available for hire, contact details can be supplied if requested.
Limited assistance will be given by NIMSI personnel.
Invoicing & payments
All invoicing will be done on confirmation of assets.
All payments can only be made via wired/electronic bank transfers.
Exchange rate as on closing day of auction for customers paying in South African Rands.
Release of assets
Assets will only be released once full payment reflects in the nominated bank account of Panabid.
Proof of payment for assets must be given to transporter or shipping company that collects assets.
